Intern - Engineering/Transportation
The intern will assist the Transportation section in performing traffic studies including traffic counts and turning movement counts. Other duties include field verification of intersection diagrams, traffic collision analysis, delay studies, speed studies, some CAD work using AutoCAD, use of Microsoft Excel, Access, and MSWord for various projects, general filing, and other miscellaneous work and projects.
Working hours are generally between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., but will also include a.m. and p.m. peak data collection. Schedule will be flexible based on the student's class schedule. Number of hours per week to be determined. Work will be limited to 16 hours per week during school attendance.
