Clinical Manager, CCBHC

The Clinical Manager position will work at LifeWorks NW's Certified Community Behavioral Healthcare Clinics (CCBHC). In 2017, LifeWorks NW was selected to represent Oregon in the federal demonstration project to implement CCBHCs to advance delivery of behavioral health care. LifeWorks NW's CCBHC sites will provide comprehensive client care through a team-based approach with services that include mental health and substance use counseling, peer-delivered health and wellness services, primary care services and psychiatric rehabilitation. Staff that work at our CCBHC sites will collaborate with others to care for individuals through daily interactions and support, counseling, skills training, care coordination, health promotion and education, medication management services and supportive services with preventive approach

PURPOSE: 

Provides overall direction, representation and leadership for site in accordance with LWNW mission. Provides clinical expertise and direction including quality management and contract compliance. Works to ensure a healthy, productive office culture. Partners with the Practice Manager to ensure effective clinic operations.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate degree (Masters or Doctoral) in a recognized mental health discipline required.
  • Five years past the Masters level, progressively responsible clinical and administrative experience.
  • Previous successful experience in community mental health or addiction services, staff training and supervision, with broad theoretical perspective to allow work with a multi-disciplinary staff.
  • Demonstrated organizational, administrative and program development interest and skill.
  • Strong computer skills including a functional knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to master use of proprietary software including electronic health record system.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills and ability to provide and maintain a cooperative working relationship with others in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Meets expectations for being an effective supervisor and team member.
  • If recovering from a substance abuse related disorder, must be able to demonstrate continuous sobriety under nonresidential, independent living conditions for the immediate past two years.
  • Ability to perform essential functions of job without creating a direct threat to the safety of self or others.
